One of the most popular cosmetic procedures lately has been lip fillers. And while most girls who get this procedure would only typically have it done once or maybe even twice, some women take it to the extreme.
That’s precisely the case with Andrea Ivanova, who got her first round of lip fillers back in 2018. Back then, she was just 21-years-old, and all she intended was to improve her lips to her own personal liking. Fast forward to today, and the young lady has already spent more than $5,000 on lip procedures and is calling herself the Balkan Barbie.
Fill Her Up
While most people would think it unfathomable for anyone to spend most of their adult life obsessing over a single body part, that’s precisely what Andrea Ivanova has done. The young lady has turned into an overnight celebrity because of her lip procedures, and she now has more than 18,000 followers on her personal Instagram page. Aside from being an internet personality, Ivanova has also dabbled in singing. She hails from Burgas, Bulgaria and her claim to fame has to do in large part, no pun intended, with the enormity of her lips.
Since the first procedure in 2018, Ivanova has undergone 27 surgeries over the past four years to make her lips look more prominent. She has made it her personal ambition to look like a human Bratz doll. Naturally, many people don’t understand her dream, and she has been subject to a significant backlash on social media for her lifestyle. However, some people support her goals and praise her for her commitment to her looks.
The Biggest Lips in the World
In an interview that she did with Metro UK a few years back, Ivana talked about what has driven her to pursue such a niche goal. She also opened up about how happy her procedures have made her and how much more confident she is now because of her growing lips.
“I like my lips now, more than before and I feel very good and very happy with them because according to me, with bigger lips I look prettier. There are people who like me with bigger lips and there are people who like me with smaller lips but it doesn’t matter to me, because it’s important for me how I like it.”
Ivanova may be happy with her lips, but a few people out there are definitely concerned over the physical toll her body might be taking as a result of all the procedures. But Ivanova is unfazed as she is continually looking to make them bigger.
“I can’t give any indication of how big is too big, or can lips be too big, because for each person, big, bigger and too big are different concept.”
