Being noticed by our lifelong idol, a person we’ve followed our whole lives, can often be a life-changing event.
This is exactly what happened with a 12-year-old girl named Victoria Anthony. Her dream of meeting her idol became a reality in 2018 while she was attending a Pink concert in Vancouver, Canada.

Singers constantly invite their fans on-stage and ask them to sing with them. But, when Pink noticed Victoria and called her up on stage, even Pink herself was surprised by the girl’s voice and singing capabilities.

There are millions of hidden gems around the world when it comes to any talent, and singing is no exception.
I have a confession to make. I spend a lot of time on YouTube, and I’ve seen my fair share of hidden gems videos, everything from screaming metal vocals to rapping. But, if I’m being completely honest, I’ve never heard anything like Victoria’s voice.

Pink was no stranger to Victoria. She’s already heard her videos and read about her in the papers. Namely, Victoria’s mom decided to run a campaign and run videos of the girl singing Pink’s songs as ads so more people could see it. Pink stopped the concert and called for the little girl. She said:
“Are you who I read about on the news? Do you want to come to sing something?”
Once Victoria got up on stage, she started rocking her rendition to Pink’s “Perfect.” And, everybody was flabbergasted by the girl’s vocal capabilities. Even Pink herself couldn’t believe what she was hearing.
The love and sheer positivity Pink shares with her fans are amazing, and it’s not strange to me that she’s getting this kind of attention.
